Volume 11. The First Ledger Book of High Wycombe

edited with an introduction by R.W. Greaves 330+xix pp (1956)

The Book was given to the borough in 1475, when earlier material was copied into it, and continues into the 18th century. It is the principal source for the early history of High Wycombe, always an industrial centre and one of the most important towns in the county. Latin entries have been translated.
